St Austell Brewery was founded in 1851 in the center of St Austell, Cornwall. The brewery is deeply rooted in its Cornish heritage, and its products are widely recognized throughout Cornwall. In 1893, the brewery moved to its current location on Trevarthian Road. St Austell also owns around 150 pubs.
